We had just completed an in-depth messaging project to support the company’s move into North America – and had knocked it out of the park. The messaging project began our foray into the world of solar power plants and wind turbine generators – clean energy for our country, despite the constantly changing legislative climate giving the industry any solid footing.
Our success at understanding the complex issues surrounding renewable energy quickly led to our planning and executing the entire public relations program, both nationally and locally. We put Duprey on the national media stage with interviews at Associated Press, Forbes and the Wall Street Journal. We created interest in the company from trade publications like North American Windpower and Solar Industry. Community engagement programs were put in place, like high school scholarships and wind farm dedications. We used every tool at our disposal and created social media campaigns, media campaigns, internal communications programs, corporate communications programs, thought leadership campaigns, and events. We even wrote all of the copy for the North American website.
Ultimately, we created an easier path for ACCIONA to build its business in North America. The knowledge and experience we gained created a platform for the many renewable energy clients to follow, including KiOR, Global Bioenergies, and Enel Green Power North America.
