Specialty: Making clients’ lives easier, and happier
Starr Million Baker declared her major in the 7th grade and never changed it again. That kind of determination and love of journalism is what took her through newspaper editor in high school, reporter in college, and PR pro ever since (with a brief stop in advertising at GSD&M) to where she is now – co-founder and president of INK Public Relations.
Starr’s true talents lie in working closely with clients to determine their needs, establishing goals to meet them, and then exceeding those goals on a daily basis, to the delight of her clients. Starr also relishes a challenge and uses her persuasive wiles to turn around the attitudes of even the toughest of journalists toward her clients’ stories.
Currently, Starr leads the Bluetooth Special Interest Group and Nuventix accounts for INK and contributes to the magicJack, Sensory and ShangBy teams, incorporating planning, media relations, and writing with strong strategic counsel. While these, and all INK clients, provide extensive wireless and consumer technology industry experience, previous clients have given Starr the opportunity to work in the enterprise management software, security software, and other B2B technology industries. |
